Week Two

Shalom again Banot! Ainav pointed out to me that this blog doesn't look right on Internet Explorer. I write it on Mozilla Firefox-- so that might be better.

This week, we only had two days, but we did cover some very important things.
We had an assignment where the students had to fill out a list of words on their own, and write the alef-bet.

This, along with the sheet about Rosh hashana are what you need for the exam on Monday.

In Chumash this week, we learned why and how Nadav and Avihu died, and who they were in the Celebrity Family-Tree.
We also did work on page 67 of the Targilon, and if anyone didn't finish the reveiw questions 1-10, please finish them by Tuesday. We learned about the Menorah, and Rivka demonstrated to us the direction the wicks are supposed to face-- all towards the middle!

We played a long and close game of Torah Taboo, where you all showed how much you really know about Rosh Hashana!

You handed in the sheets on Shmuel that you were working on, and I gave them back to you. Please read the comments, and follow the instructions that I gave you on your assignment.
